Powers, an accomplished business development advisor and strategist with 25 years of experience engaging with governments and selling legal and professional services to the global public and private sectors. She served as Director of Business Development for Public Policy, Regulatory, and Client Service Initiatives for a global law and public policy firm. In 2020, she said goodbye to fancy titles and ‘Inside the Beltway’ mentality to form MAGENT® and started her journey toward having more time, money, and freedom instead.

Recognized as a “Most Influential Businesswoman in Law Firm Business Development” in the U.S. by Acquisition International, she combines executive-level business development skills with substantive international experience and a deep understanding of doing business with governments. Alongside supporting businesses with profit acceleration, she offers BDMATE® to ordinary people who want to progress in life by becoming independent owners of a B-business that creates time and money freedom.

Outside of business, MAGENT® enjoys serving communities and advancing initiatives that fight human trafficking, support veterans and empowers future generations. Before joining the professional services industry, she served in the U.S. government, the World Bank, and a U.S. presidential campaign. MAGENT® is based in the Greater Washington, DC region.
